This is further supported because associated files for the Grattler refer to it as "ArchGRNAAGUN," which can be seen as an abbreviation of " Archwing Gri neer AA Gun". For some archwing missions I prefer the Fluctus with its infinite punch-through meaning you can shoot enemies through asteroids. Except it's an archgun, which means that it's outclassed by the Kuva weapons which have access to Galvanised/Corrupted/Nightmare/Primed mods.

The Grattler's design and functionality appears to be modeled on several real world Anti-aircraft guns, which can have multiple barrels for a high rate of fire and in earlier models would fire explosive shells to cloud the skies with shrapnel. The Grattler is the Bramma of the archguns. Not counting the Imperator or the Veritux (as well as the latter's Prisma variant), the Grattler is the first Archwing weapon that only uses resources for construction, as opposed to requiring weapon parts. This is the first Archwing Gun (and the first Archwing weapon overall) not to be of Tenno origin. This is the idea that surrounds Warframe and that will make you live epic adventures of shooting and endless action. The Grineer text on the sides reads "Deth From Here". The very idea of extinction ends up being a trigger for the exploitation of the hidden potential of an entire species. The Grattler was first seen in the Echoes of the Sentients Highlight Video. Thus the Punch Through is only noticeable when shooting surfaces. Although the Grattler's shots have innate Punch Through, they explode upon hitting an enemy. The projectile deals 175 damage while explosions deal only 100 damage. Though the Arsenal adds them together, the Grattler's projectiles and its projectiles' explosions have separate damage values.

The velocitus felt like spit-wads with more ammo than you will ever need and the Corvas felt like bigger spit wads with just not enough ammo if you aren't fully charging the shots. Can't say I recommend them over Grattler or Fluctus. Once fully spooled, the Grattler has a maximum fire rate of 6.25 rounds per second, 50% above its listed value. Just in time as I just leveled the Corvas and Velocitus I built yesterday. It handles exceptionally well in space missions, and it can even be used as a good add-clear weapon for atmosphere missions. Most consider the Fluctus the best Arch-Gun for newer players. Though the Arsenal lists a fire rate of 4.17, this is the fire rate before spool-up. Each shot from the Fluctus releases a horizontal wave of energy with infinite punch through and high critical chance.
